A title sequence for a fictional series inspired by Greek mythology. Beyond the sequence itself, I developed the storyline and the visual direction. Inspired by the openings of Westworld, Daredevil and American Gods, I used 3D animation to build a dark, atmospheric sequence, balancing 3D work with editing and pacing.

Introduction

"Susan" is the story of a young girl who transforms into Medusa.

Susan has always been an outsider, bullied for being different. She finds solace in her pet snake, Timothy, who accepts her for who she is. However, as the bullying escalates, Susan feels increasingly isolated and angrier. One day, she is followed after school and pressured, causing her to turn against the bully Patrick, Turning him into stone and discovering powers she doesn't yet understand.

As Susan struggles with the burden of her new powers and the choice to use them for good or evil, it becomes clear that Timothy is not as innocent as he seems. Susan's journey unfolds before our eyes, and now she must not only fight the challenges of her own transformation but also the treacherous influence of her once trusted friend.

Behind the Scenes

All of the “models” were created with photogrammetry techniques and further refining them in Blender. The entire project was completed within Blender, providing a valuable learning experience in the process of photogrammetry and effectively utilizing these photoscans for the project.
